Ok, I believe the camp is on the north end of the lake. If you head across the open bay towards the west, follow the northern shoreline once you get out of the main part of the lake. Go almost to where you have to turn around, but watch for a large tree that has fallen partially into the water. I snorkeled there last summer and saw walleyes stacked like logs, one on top of another. It was crazy!! We tossed jigs in there later that day and ended up catching some nice eyes!

I have fished it every summer for the last 15 years. The walleyes have been down due to “spearfishing.” There was a slot last year, but there are some nice fish in the lake. Do you use the landing off of Hwy 40? If I knew where you went in, I can guide you around a little bit.
