    I had the same prob last year. I think i used goo gone and got most of the foam off. Never had a problem with the signal. This past summer i put tin foil in the nest to stop it from sticking.

    Check the blades. I just bought strike-lite II with a 8″ lazer the day after x-mas. Didn’t cut worth a crap. If they say made in China on the top side call strikemaster 763-263-8999. Something about the pitch being wrong. They replaced mine after giving them the ser. # on them.
