we fished for about 4 hours nothing in the boat, a couple of soft bites missed due to being rusty. Pool 2 is setting up nicely for a strong Spring. Enjoy.

We have a cabin on upper clam and they cut weeds all summer so in August the weeds should be at a minimum. The last couple of summers we have not had the weeds so bad. In regards to steaks there is a place just outside of Hertel called something like Backwoods that is great. Enjoy your time at the lake.

I would try West Marine or a Sailing Store. I think there is a West Marine Store in Minnetonka. I have a Mustang that I have had for ten years and it is still very warm and comfortable.

We were down on POOL 3 on Friday and did OK around Buffalo Slough, actually pulled a couple of nice eyes out of there on #7 Shad Raps. I think in the next couple of weeks once the temp gets below 55 degrees we will see the bite turn on. Good Luck
