Like I said , if you can’t be happy for others and send them a congrats then don’t say anything at all If you would like to talk more about this PM me.
X3!!
Hey i have the same gun. I use the modified choke that came with the gun… works real good. as far as ammo just depends on how much u wanna pay. i usually get Winchester xpert high velocity 3in BB for geese. hope that ll help ya out a bit. put the down on em!!!
Not too long ago in a field and stream there was an article about making coat hooks with the feet. but other than that i can think of anything that would be good.
Pick up an issue of Shotgun News. there are plenty of ads in there dealing with AR’s. Or you could google AR-15 and you can find some sites that way. a good site to check out is http://www.AR15.com
I’ve Got a Stoeger 2000 and love it, you can sure put the down with it.
sounds like a good idea. but i also think that trophy bucks should be earned. ya it would be sweet to see a lot of big bucks running around. and for people who just wanted to harvest an animal for the freezer could shoot a doe. just my .02
not too sure but i once heard that if you can get close enough to them with out spraying, you can inject them with accitone. i’m thinkin thats a little trick or something but maybe someone on here will know.
my dads got one. nice rifle, shoots pretty good. depending on what you are paying for a Mini 14 i’d look into an AR. you can build them pretty cheap.
i have the same gun. i have not tried the turkey choke in it yet. hopefully we’ll get some good answers because its my 1st year turkey hunting , with my shotgun
hope this can help a little bit. for the broadheads i’d go with the rage 2 blades just because of the large cutting diamiter, with all of those feathers they clot up quick.
Please stay on point and don’t make inflamatory political statements.
Thanks!
i have never been to the WMA’s south of rochester but have been to 1 east of rochester by RCTC. i can’t tell you the name of it off the top of my head. was just in there walking around checking out the place and kicked up 5 or 6 birds 3 or 4 roosters and a couple hens… hope this helps some, i can do more looking and try to figure out which one i wendt to out there
no this wasnt like any grunt or bleat or a distress call like i’ve ever heard before. this was something wierd sounding might not have been a deer but sounded liek grunt, bleat, kinda deal who knows.
looked a little bit more after school last night. not much luck. just a quick ?? just thought of this noew while ive been sitting here in careers class. my and my buddy heard this funny sound the night i shot it, it was like a grunt/bleat/moan-groan kinda deal anybody ever heard something like that before

Sounds like you hit that deer low. My guess is it will be fine. You will still get that leg kick/jump if you hit them low but catch some rib. My guess is a low flesh wound in the chest.
so do you think its worth tracking or just move on
ya i think that the o-ring got there when it went through, not blood on all of it, but it was raining pretty good when i shot and after, the blood we found was bright red and smelt like regular blood not like gut shot. everything was right with the blade holding it down as far as i can tell.
Montana Black Gold 4 pin…. 10,20,30,40
then just a plain peep sight
It can happen from condensation. like when you have a cold water bottle and bring it outside in the heat, it sweats, well guns do the same thing hope that helps a little
Here are some of the pictures i found on google, just by typing in Rage Broadheads… pretty incredable i think, still saving up my pennies to get some
i use break-free, on the barrel and reciever, and a light coat of militek in the action, and also have a dehumidifier down there
not too sure but i think you can get them at gander mountain. i think i’ve seen em there
