If you’re fishing the dam area use the Hidden Falls launch. It takes just a minute or two to cruise up to the dam from there. Good Luck -Rick
I would have to agree with catcrazy. We fish live suckers for flatheads and cut bait for the channels. When fishing flatheads at night we have had several very nice sized channel cats take our large live suckers. Give suckers a try and I’m sure you will be pleased with the result. Good luck -Rick

Hey Birdman, I would say the fresher the cut bait the better. We always go out with a bunch of live suckers and when needed we’ll cut one up. It seems like the piece left on the cutting board for a while never works quite as well. Good Luck -Rick
