I’ve gotten to fish in g chief dmeyer’s boat a couple on times. The man knows his walleyes, and that lake very, very well.

I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the services mentioned so far. Have a good time on the water HowieT, and make a good impression on your boss and his/her friend.

I was on the water with the Griz a couple seasons back. We were basically in a community spot on the river with about 60 other boats. Just like Michael Jordan plays on the same court and with the same basketball as the “other” guys, the Griz put on a clinic of how boat control, presentation, and speed can make all the difference in the world. The water level had dropped the day before, and all those other boats were still fishing like the walleyes were on fire (as they were before the level change). The Griz moved us in and out of all these 60 other boats throughout the day. We caught about 70 fish. I saw maybe 6 fish pulled in by all of the other boats-combined that day. I second g chief dmeyer’s reply. There isn’t a lot of bullshitting with the Griz. He’ll tell you what he thinks if asked about techniques, or fishing related politics(don’t bring up Mille Lacs netting permissions), and a remind you to keep his boat clean (no seeds in his boat!) Have a good season Chappy.
