I had 9 deer in my plot two nights ago. There are a ton of acorns this year so maybe they are having a change of diet. They will be back.

Yes they work. They do have a smell that it gives off but i am not sure if it spooks game or not. It is not suppose to.

Thanks guys, I know I am going to enjoy. If my son can harvest a deer from the plot then it will make the hard work well worth it.

Hey Ian, welcome. I have never met you or your dad but from reading articles posted on here from your dad if your pay attention and listen to how he does things you will be very successful. Always remember to have fun– that is the way things in the field should be.

Nice Pics. We have had several litters around our house for the past few years. They are fun to watch. On my way to work this morning there was one lying on the road that someone must have hit with a vehicle. Sad to see.

Yep the dog is getting antsy. We have hunted the Webster SD area the last couple years. We may be checking out some different areas this year. Last year we didnt do as well. We hunt mostly walkin areas and there was still alot of corn standing when we were there.

Great post Brian. Just got one last week. Hard choice between the Reezen and Alpa Max.
