I have and i know ive lost fish cause of it as they drop the bait when meeting that resistance. Thinking about using that vibrating puck they sell but they want too much money and the batteries only last 8hrs or so….would be nice to have similar device but having a internal rechargeable lithium battery instead.

How good is the local dnr (Webster area) at plowing out the public accesses at the lakes like Bitter or Enemy Swim? Hoping to pull a 14′ ice castle out on the 30th barring the forecast doesn’t warm up.

If looking for a quick fix go with an entry level one on amazon as they start out at $100 and are basic but buddies who have em say they work decent.

Darwin at its finest! I run this stretch of river multiple times a week for the last 7 years with $300 worth of lights on my boat and i still take every precaution and drive much slower at night even when i think i know that river! He had to be running fairly fast to capsize that boat with all the weight in it…Hopefully charges will be brought up and he never fishes the river again! Not like there is any big cats in there…right BK?

My PB channel was out of the MN and it was 35×21 and weighed 19# so that beast is defintely in the 20-25#range! Just a hawg!

Awesome pics! We were up this last weekend as well and the bite was great Sat with the red or gold spoons pounding fish but Sun was red plain hook and smallest minnow we could get. 50 eyes for 2 days with a 24″ being the biggest…mostly 8-9fow.

Sure did! This last weekend we stayed with Justin(Out of Rogers’) for Sat/Sun nights and slept in a wheelhouse on shore and used our portable during the day. Excellent service and clean and spacious houses to choose from and good prices! Ended up with 50 eyes with a 24″ being the biggest. Another party that went with Justin also did really good and stuck a 28″ and released it to swim another day. Would recommend if anyone is considering booking a trip! Thanks again Justin!
