Took the kids out to Dresbach for just an hour on Sun afternoon. Skunked. Well, you know what they say, “If you never get skunked, you’re not going enough.”

I fished 7 last Saturday. Mostly worked wingdams looking for walleye. Ended up catching a bunch of nice smallies. Crank baits, and 3 ways with crawlers. Tried jigs/minnow at Tremp dam but only a couple of small sauger. Good luck. I’m trying Dresbach and pool 8 on Friday or Sat.

Same pattern on Pool 7, this Saturday (11/17). Nice smallies (>15, and fat) in wing dams. Caught mine on cranks and three ways with crawler (looking for walleye). Caught at least one on every wingdam I hit. No walleye to be found.

We made the trip up to Redwing on Sat also. My first time up there. Caught 10 sauger 16-19″. Half on Jig & crawler and half on jig & minnow. We were in the white C-liner Fish Hawk.
