I use a Mr.heater cooker on a 5# tank and have never had a problem with it. I have also used it on the buddy heater with no problems.

I own two pairs of Baffin boots…Titan and Trapper. Both are all rubber boots with removable linners.

The Trapper is rated to -75. The Titan is rated for -148. Both boots are priced at under $100 and are great for when we have water and slush on the ice.

    I purchased mine from winterfootwear.com

I always ask the butcher at Cub for seasoning to use on prime rib and it seems to be good.

We cook ours at 500 for 15 minutes to sear the outside then 325 per pound. Take it out when the temp reaches about 120 degrees and let it sit covered for about 15 minutes. The temp will rise to 125-130 and that is med rare.

Thats how we do it and it turns out great every time

sounds like a good idea except for the hole freezing up or the line freezing up on the reel after being wet…unless your a warm weather fisherman.

Even if it was an honest mistake on their part being they may have read the notes wrong, They should have no reason to leave tire marks on the driveway and tore up the yard. make em pay!

Apply Lime or Gypsum. It is inexpensive and can be applied at a heavy rate. You can get it at the big box stores.

Also, it is still a little early for the lawn to green up with the soil temps still cool.

    Excellent customer service? Lowrance?

I have emailed them 6 times about the problem i have with their product since around November 1st…never a reply. I have called them 3 times only to be put on hold for a half hour before hanging up.

    I have the HuntC gps.

Been using it for about 3 years now. started out as a great unit but now it takes forever to pic up satelites…i have to turn it on before heading up north and sometimes it will not pick them up. have had days when it will not pick up satelites at all. Also have a couple buddies that have the H2O’s for a couple years that have the same problem.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please let me know.

Also, the power cord for these units are junk!

Well we got our locator hooked up to the boat. Ended up using a Johnny Ray mount that a buddy had extra. Seems to be a little play in it when you slightly turn it from side to side, not sure if anyone knows what i mean but should they usually hold tight without any play? Do the vex mounts hold solid?

Also I am having a hard time with the gps. It says “Gps module not responding”. Anyone have any idea what i may have done wrong or any tips on things to check? We have looked it over quite a bit and seems like we did everything the way the instructions say.

That looks like a nice mount also Derek. I may have to consider that one. However , with that mount and my windshield, I wouldn’t be able to rspin the locater at all if i wanted to see it from the bow. That not too big of a concern being that we may put the locater that came with the boat on the bow.

Next Question: With a lowrance on my dash, and a Raytheon that came with the boat on the bow, and both transducers out the back of the boat, will i get a bunch of interfearance on my Lowrance?

Thanks for the reply’s. It sounds like Johnny Ray and RAM mounts are both good. Guess i’ll just have to see what fits and works best in my Crestliner with the limited space on the dash.

    Thanks again.
