Remove the forward battery tray, and see if there are rigging tubes under the floor. I have a 1650 Angler, under the tray was a 4″ hole, sticking my phone thru and taking pictures showed me the (2) tubes, 1 that ran forward, the other to the stern.
Your Fury might be similar.

OK, I’ve got to ask. Since so many of the Alumacraft faithful are proud of their made in Japan Yamaha outboards, and diss made in the USA Mercury’s, how can hulls being made in Mexico be a problem?

I proved out the 2.0EB/8-speed combo last year with my wife’s Edge, I’m pretty sure the 4K tow package has better gearing than hers. Getting ready to head up North next weekend, boat is a Lund 1650 Angler, similar to what you mentioned.
At only 200″ OAL, the Mav is a pretty easy fit in the garage,,,,

I bought an adapter off Amazon to adapt a Milwaukee M18 battery to one of my old Craftsman 19.2V saws, and it works as expected.

Let me share something I use with my transom TM’s over the years. Even with the metal clamp mounts, these things can “walk”. Years ago, Minn-Kota used to offer a plastic plate that would attach to the transom, and the pads would fit into shallow recesses. I’ve adapted that to a piece of Starboard that fits snugly in the area between the splashwell and the top cap, with a pair of recesses formed by using a Forstner bit (for you woodworkers).
Keeps the TM in place, and no damage to the paint.

In my previous house, I installed a Beacon-Morris that had a direct-vent exhaust, so you could intake/exhaust it out a sidewall, rather than thru the roof.

On my last rig, that had a roller trailer, in addition to keeping a long line permanently tied to the bow eye, I also added a cleat to the winch post, so I could take a wrap on the cleat, unhook the winch strap, and control the hull rolling off.

back in the day, the reason I was told is that Skeeter, being a Yamaha company, didn’t have (and still doesn’t) a power-steering solution for higher-hp outboards, so they kept the hp rating down to a level that would discourage people from ordering hulls without OB’s, and going to Mercury for an outboard with a power tiller steering system.
as shown in the picture I posted, that was a 225hp Verado, that had been re-chipped to 275. It was a fun ride,,,,,

Now I cannot even run a sprinkler in the back because I am assuming the water volume has dropped since they also installed a shutoff valve. Not too happy to say the least.

Don’t laugh too hard, but I’ve used cabinet door baby-latches as an easy way to keep the door from flying open while trailering with the cover off.

No they do not. There is some law suit happening against the nb water company now. On a regular month our bill is 230ish and when I ran our sprinklers it was over 400
