Didn’t see your post in time. I’d love to get out fishing with you Sometime. How did you do? Thanks for running the league this Year. My son & I had a great time. See you Tuesday night at the Bungalow.
We fished Saturday evening in the SE corner. Slow going as well. We only boated 5 fish, with the biggest being 24″. Water temps were 60-61 degrees. Hopefully things cool down in a hurry. Firetiger HJ’s caught all the fish..
Two friends went out the other night on the North end. Very slow. Saw some fish porpoising, but nothing following/hitting. They threw everything in the box, but just a slow afternoon/evening…
I was up on Monday and saw several fish on the south end. I didn’t get any to hit, but that’s all part of the game. Isle bay and Wahkon were the main bays. 4 fish were piggies, we just couldn’t get them to hit..
Nice fish! Has anyone else noticed the larger than average size ‘eyes the Croix is yielding this year? I was out one morning last week and thought I had hooked a nice catfish, and it turned out to be a 27″ ‘eye that weighed 8 1/2 pounds…
I’m fairly new to the site, but am going to try and make the get together. It would be fun to finally meet some of you and get more familiar with some IDA people. I’ve fished the St. Croix for the past 8 years, and it would be a great opportunity to talk fishing with some other St. Croix fishermen…
I think I’ll be there Saturday evening. I’m new to this site, and just wanted to say how impressed I am with everyone. I’m looking forward to meeting some of you soon. I’ve fished muskies on Lake of the Woods for 10 years or so, and have started chasing them around on Mille Lacs. I’m glad to see a muskie post on IDA!
