A few more pics from the past few years…

All of the pics are from MN…so yes, there are still plenty of birds to shoot in this great state!!!

Kota is in a few (bringing back 2 ducks at a time in one of the pics), some with the fellas (and YES we did pick up duck camp before leaving the field).

One includes a 3 year olds first hunt!

Thought the one of my buddy with his son was a cool pic, it was his first goose hunt.

And you gotta love my buddy out picking up the rest of the dekes by himself while the rest of us take pics and have a nice cold beverage!

Plenty of ducks in the Dakota’s, WI and MN…just need to work a little for them. Shot most of my birds this year off public land/water…

I would love to hunt the river, just dont know where to go. Guessing it is hard bottom, slow moving where the ducks are, might want to give it a try. Sounds like a good time…

Can’t imagine giving it up!!! But I agree with some of the above comments, it is nice to sit in a tree stand or chase roosters around too. Mix it up…and get back to ND! Always worth the trip…

Stacking up a pile of birds is fun…but I think just being there in ND with family and friends hunting (birds or no birds) and NOT being in the cities with the cidiots is good enough for me! Love it.

The “Firearms Saftey” class is offered thru the Minnesota DNR website. To become a “Certified Firearms Instructor” you must attend the course, as they do background checks and is hands on. http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/safety/index.html

I agree w/ the birds moving West…and a trip to South or North Dakota is well worth the money and time but I still think there are plenty of birds to be had here in MN.

Nothing near the cities. I think you have a better chance of getting shot hunting near the cities than actually shooting birds…!?

The year went by too fast…

Ended the year by shooting 30 ducks, mainly mallards (and a NICE golden eye) and 2 geese over the weekend. Still think most of the mallards are up north. I think it would be a good idea to start the season a couple weeks later and let us hunt until mid December. The past few years, this one included, seems like we are missing the migration…?!?

Already looking forward to next year!

I would be happy to set up about 3 dozen dekes, grab a few buddies and shoot a few birds for him!

Instead of him telling everybody to shoot birds off their yards he should let a few guys head in there and set up.

I would be happy to do it…

Hoping the weather cooperates! Heading out Thursday morning and most of the weekend. Sounds like there are a ton of birds near Fargo/Moorhead right now. They just need a good push south!

A couple from ND and western MN…

Kota always has to join us while we are picking up dekes so she likes to sit in the canoe!

I would bet it is the pressure cycling switch located in the accumulator (silver canister on pass side of engine compartment). It has one small electrical plug and the screws out (has a small o’ring on it. All you have to do is unplug it and unscrew, replace it with no special tools.
GM part# 1132749 will run about $45.85 plus tax!
