Is the wearing on the outside edge irregular around the tire? I had a similiar issue. The aligment was check and spot on. When I has the tire replaced, I was told it was just a bad tire. Had it replaced with the same brand and have not had the issue reoccur.

Thanks for the thoughts. I had Rhino lining in my last truck and was happy with it. I went without anything on this truck. Now the topper has removed some of the paint on the rails so maybe it time. Anyone have any experience with the Ziebart(sp??) folks?

I was told by a yahmmy dealer Ring Free is a waste of money. He suggested SeaFoam. I run a can through with every tank. Haven’t had a problem yet.

In looking at my brother in-laws 1800, I think the compartment on the 1700 is larger. At lease the access door is. There is plenty of room in there with the two batteries for a charger. It is just a matter of knowing whats behind the sides. Guess I’ll have to take the fuel tank cover off to be sure. Thanks for all the help.

I just changed the oil on my Yammy tonight. Love the motor, but if I was buying again I would go with an e-tec. A lot less maint with the bennys of a 4strk. If you find a used one, take it. That’s my 2 cent.

I would start about 3 mos old. I took my lab to a sporting clays club. Put him on a leash out in the parking lot and slowly moved him closer to the noise. Didn’t spend a lot of time there the first time, but made frequent trips each time spending a little more time at the club getting closer to the shooter. After a couple trips, he didn’t seem to even notice the noise and he would sit within 30 ft of the shooters.

Sorry my question wasn’t clear. Someone above mentioned that they would be coming out with a 9.9 e-tec. What I really wanted to know is if a 9.9 e-tec would be oil injected so that you could run an oil line directly from your big motor oil reservoir to the kicker? I may be mistaken but I don’t recall anyone making a small two-stroke in the past that was oil injected, only pre-mixed models. So if you had a two-stroke kicker you needed to run it from a separate pre-mix tank.
