rochy, I cannot speak for Low. but I love my HB. I have the 898 on the bow. My only negative on this unit is the screen sure could be brighter. I have the 1197 on the dash. What a tool it has been. I would suggest you look into a 1197. You will find almost $1000.00 off this unit. This price will be a little more than the new 898 but well worth the investment. Good luck in your search.

Shallow water issues with the 898 units will be solved with new software update in several weeks. I have found when in shallow water DI print out is closer to depth lines than switchfire. “Been there, done that” with all recommened HB suggestions. Great unit when this glitch is fixed.
