Guys the problem is last years season was over in Nov. and everyones unit that was acting up is now being sent to them to get fixed. You can’t even begin to know how many units they get this time of year. Each one with a different problem, each one has to be taken apart tested and fixed. Even if they had 500 people on the tech staff it would still take time to get all the units fixed.
Hold in there, they will make your unit right!They still make the very best products we can buy. 
I would send my units in in the fall from now on, if they need fixing from the season, you tend to find the wait less frustrating
1-9 on weekdays and 10-9 on weekend I think it ends on Sunday at 6 if I remember right?

How would that be any different than what this guy did then? I mean it was not right, but stooping to that level would’nt help either! It would just be on the news that you were no better than he was.
This is a sport and like most, parents should’nt be allowed to watch if they can’t take a loss in an adult manner. I’m sure the kids let a loss go faster than the childs parents and thats sad. I have done some coaching, the parents in most cases need to be coached more than the kids!

Consider the facts, MOST every company that has the best of the best products does’nt need any help promoting that fact. Case in point: Shimano OWNS a large market share of reels sold worldwide, they in return are not writing checks to fishermen. They will sponsor TV people when they show worth to them.
It’s not hard to get deals from companies looking for help, most secondary players in the markets are willing to give you so help. Even so these companies seldom pay or even give enough products to cover a persons worth. This whole market is trained that many people will do everything for free or atleast for peanuts. The compaines are smarter than most people give them credit for and this is a “small” industry and word spreads fast.
It all still boils down to sales and what you can offer a company. Some don’t care they just put you on a list to receice a discount, while others ask you for more in return than it is worth to say you are on a staff. In the end it is still up to each angler to pick sponsors like they would pick a roomate, you have to live with all the aspects
Somewhere along the way people were trained that “pro” or “prostaff” ment you get all your gear for free. I could only wish!
My favorite part of everyones posts are how they are seemingly trained to support one brand over another. Why is that? Have you run all these motors personaly? How can someone tell anybody that they own the best motor? 95% of the public has never owned but one brand of motor. Mostly because thats what their Dad or someone in the family ran.
I can say that I have run Merc,Yamaha, and Evinrude. I have run 2 strokes and 4 strokes in 200H.P and larger. I will leave my feelings to myself (as it’s my personal choice what I run). Nobody pays me to run any motor and until I get free motors and get paid cash to say one is better than another, I will just run the ones on the boats I own! Right now I own a 225 4 stroke and a 200 stroke.

Looking at the schedule for next season and the talent crop the Vikes have, I would’nt get my hopes up to high next year I would be looking at about 3 years to make the run. Only if it all works out, and the Pack and Bears lose all the young talent they have.

Since they have not drafted well, (either they were over loaded on one side of the ball or the other). It takes time to get the right personel in place.
