ok I got one question also. I also have a chocolate lab. the thing is a machine in the woods. never goes to far, works the sides of trails, all the good stuff. the dog is anal when it comes to retrieving the dummy in water. BUT when it comes to retrieving a rooster or grouse it just wants to play with it and wont bring it to me. any suggestions??

kinda why we cut up our own also. i then weigh the trimmings before i bring it in to have that processed. its tough to find a butcher shop that will do ONLY your meat!

one question, do you use a metal collar? my chocolate lab had reactions to the metal choker collar we used. she would get like sores andscabs on here tummy. then noticed her getting raw where the collar sat. took it off and all went away. now use a vinyl type and no problem.
