Good looken fish on the 3ways. This high current sure makes them shine.

You guys are right on with that oil slick. The barge that left the lock around 2pm on sunday is gulty. I can’t believe they get away with that. They had a white ring around the edge of the tug but it didn’t do any good. Any one no who to tell about the problem to get any thing done about it.

Saturday night I only had 1 keeper in 2 hours. I went back today from 9 to 2:30 and cought 20 with only four keepers. I couldn’t get on a good pattern. Jiging the wash was probably the best. I also found a few trolling plugs in the main channel. Need some more current to get them from being so scattered.

When I talked to some of the locals up there last week they said they were trying to bring back the walleyes in the chain if this is true why are they putting in the cribs for the crappies. Time and time again lakes either become good for one or the other not both at the same time. Not that it matters to me but I was just woundering what the rational behind the cribs are. By the way thankyou to every one that helped give reports for my trip last week. It was good fishing for crappies but the walleyes are very slow at best. The majority of the crappies were small with very few slabs 3 over 10″ and no tags. The kids had fun and the weather was very nice. 4 to 9′ of water early in the day seem to be the best for us.

I am usally fishing for Walleye, but I am willing to try anything that will

bite. I have never fished that pool before it looks fairly trecherous from

the Onalaska side. Any suggestions on where to put the boat in at.
