    A passport is not required to enter Canada. It is only required to enter the US.

    There are tons of lakes in NW Ontario with excellent laker fishing. Just a short drive over the border and you can snowmobile in to different lakes/cabins and there are even some you can drive your truck out and go fishing. Just do a google seasrch on ice fishing lake trout in ontario and you will find lots of differnet options.

    You are right on, there are no special exceptions for Lac Seul

    Chrossa – You can only fish with one line during the openwater, it is two lines on the hardwater. It has been that way for a very long time, as long as I can remember.
