    See if you can borrow a 24″ and a 22″ Tempest or even a Trophy ( both Merc) and take them out & run ’em . I am assuming you are running the Opti on a bass boat. Watch your water and tach !! Get the engine on a jackplate if not already.

    For quick storage & drying , I use these. Long term , use a “hanger” type box.

    I hope sir “Bassalot” has some sort of Towtector or something. It’d be like a sand box in his boat, and nothing left of the gellcoat by the time he gets to the next (gas station) ‘er I mean Lake .

    I thought you meant open water. Fireline “Micro-Ice” both for panfish , and walleye tipup sets , through the ice.The stuff is tough and invisible. Super clear water panfish- 2lb. mono.- ( I buy a large spool & change my line every couple of trips.)

    Try a Johnson/Evinrude \\”decarboniser/carb cleaner\\” treatment . Spray in in there when the engine is warm , the whole can , till it kills. Let if sit for an hour , then fire that mother up run it. Then change the plugs and run 2+4 fuel treatment in every tank, same thing as Sea foam , or stabil . (& try a new inline fuel bulb and fuel filter with fresh gas & tcw3 oil , sometimes that may do it )

    I ‘m doing my RangerTrail for the second time . For the life of me , I cant understand carpet on your trailer in the first place . It’s like carpeting the underside of your truck. Mine never dries out ( except when the tip-ups are out) and gets pretty nasty smelling sometimes. Heres what I am putting on this time , I did a little research in to this and found these bunk boards , pretty cool! http://www.ultimatebunkboards.com
