These things are a p.o.s. Unless you have the exact wind they wont fly. They are not indestructable.

He tried kicking some buddies of mine out of fields that were not his, claiming that they were. Nobody I know uses them or supports this guy!

As far as the ad saying you need this and that, of course he’s going to say that so you buy more of his stuff!

Look on here once and a while to see what’s going on and made it out to the river today so I figured I post up.

Headed south out of 494 this evening. Never been on this stretch of river before. Caught 3-19″ sauger and an 18″ smallie casting plastics to the shore. Caught the fish in only one spot.

Tried fishing some wingdams but the flow over them seemed real strong to me, I have nothing to compare it to though.

I really had no idea where to start as I’m not much of a river guy. Maybe next time I’ll try trollin some cranks next to the main channel.

What type of depths do you guys target? Our fish came out of about 2-3′ of water.

Chowdski, this is Matt Flicker. I don’t know if you ever talk to Theno or not but we’ll both be up at Agate Bay this weekend, we both have shacks out of there. He was up there last weekend and did real good with 5 over 25″ by himself. We might do the Hunters contest, havent been on any decent perch though. For sure gonna stop in for some drinks after prime time at night though. Later

Steve are you sight fishing or using the aqua view? I’ve been sight fishing recently and have done pretty good doing it. Its so sweet being able to see the fish in the water with your own eyes.

I got some info back on some bands we shot…..we shot 3 bands one day and all were banded in Nunavut……the oldest was hatched in ’98 or earlier…….two of them were ross, the other a blue. They also were all banded by the same person, kind of interesting.
