This is probably a dumb question but after having a lot of issues with my minnkota an my humminbird 798 they finally decided to sent me the trolling motor interfernce kit 2 & 3….My question is I have a 798 at the bow an a 997 on the console….I am thinking about taking the 798 an selling to a buddy…..Should i still put some of the ferrite rings on the graph on the 997 on console?? also what cord are your suppose to wrap them around? just the one you get power from?? They sent me 4 ferrite rings…..Also would it be worth putting the trolling motor choke on if I take that graph off the bow??

fishing has been real slow at alma…..water is still pretty cold!

Mallards always eat shad this time of year when there isnt much food around…….We have shot mallards late in the year before with shad in there crop….

Field Dressed at 240.. 5 1/2 years old…..dozens of trail camera pics of him from 2 1/2 on….an his matchin set of sheds have been found from 2 1/2 on……was stuck my neighbor in October in the hind quarters……didnt affect him at all…

This buck was 200inches two years ago……..buddy has film of it…there is four guys that are hunting this deer..guy saw it last year during gun hunting but he was movin too fast through the brush.didnt want to take the shot….in fear of wounding it an havin the neighbors get it…makes the 180 we got on camera look like a 2 1/2

Well geez blackduck….I wish we would have known that was open out there. …Lots of geese we could be shooting out there right now…..Some people are such idiots……I remember about 8-10 years ago in the middle of october when all the local ducks were shot up..and no northern ducks had come down yet.. a boat with three guys came in with a limit of green heads an geese……someone asked them where they got them….and the pointed right in the middle of the refuge on the lower end of big lake….

Well I dont know where you hunt…but last year Wisconsin’s 2nd opener was right when that cold front pushed through…an there were birds galore on the Mississippi….We shot a 4 man limit of Mallards in a couple hours…….there was alot of divers down then too…

We did pretty decent this year didnt we fishermanpepin……we ended up with 54 ducks an 2 geese being killed this weekend out of are pond…..with over 90% of the ducks being Mallards, Widgeon an Gadwall…….I’m the 2nd one from the left by the way

I have a true 23 incher on my wall and that was caught in May along the spawn and it went 6 pounds 2 ounces…a 24 incher wont go over 7 pounds…but I wont doubt if 24 incher was caught in the mississippi

What time is take off?? A early start would be a good idea with the temps being as warm as they have been..
