Cold turkey is the hardest but the most effective at keeping quit… Chew on hard candy,drink lots of COLD water and keep focused!!! You can do it,I did!!! I quit in April of 04. Good Luck,it does get easier!!!

No sense what so ever! Sealer is kinda like hair conditoner,only for black top.It puts in oils and chemicals and extends the life of the pavement. All you would be doing is wasting your $… Just my opinion and I am by no means an expert…

Hard candy,the stronger tasting the better, was the key for my quit.I smoked for over 25 years and fishing was a huge hurdle for me… I didn’t focus on my old ways instead I reminded myself of my new way of doing things.COLD water also hepled. Try to avoid caffine the first few weeks,it’s a trigger…Keep your hands busy too.Good Luck!!!

I wear long sleeve shirts all the time,I have sensitive skin…It is easier for me that way. Like what was said before,get some light colored Columbia Bonehead shirts.I think you will be amazed by how cool they are in the hottest weather! Good Luck! Paul

Try BullFrog.It has a spray,no touching needed.Or you could always bring a bottle of hand soap with you… I feel pitty twords the lady in the pic,looks painful.

I have a policy on my musky lures.I covers all lures and equipment.If it gets taken from my boat,truck or my home it’s covered.The worst part was to identify all the lured and price them out…It’s through State Farm.Well worth it,never know when someone will want the stuff more than you.

I was back out on Monday morning.I got my limit of the little ones plus a few slot fish. Some idiot just HAD to fish near me,his anchor kept loosing it’s grip.Next thing I new he was on top of me…Too bad there was NO room,only the two of us on the entire stretch… He couldn’t get anything so he left,I stayed were I was on ended up finishing my limit.Sturgeon were there thick,I had 3 of the beasts on before I was broke off every time. Real fun fights! I might fish again Friday am, Paul

I fished it this am/afternoon.Zero,notta!!! I got a small walleye and that was it! I tried 4 spots in the Yellow River and a couple off the main lake. The other people I talked to had the same action as I did…Paul

Sounds like the muffs were loose.Try rigging a bunji cord to it to tighten it on the lower unit.Turn the water about 1/2 to 3/4 way then try and start the motor and see what happens. Paul

Jerk baits, 9 or 10 inch Suick a glider like a Hellhound or Cobb,
Cranks…Cranes in 7 or 8 inch,Jakes 8 and 10 inch,Deep divers like earnies,Depth Raiders and the Great one,BELIEVER,straight and Jointed!
Colors…get whatever you like,I like contrasting lures and lures that look like some kind of forage,perch,walleye,cisco etc… Like you said,lots to choose from…Go with a friend who has a bunch and try some of his,buy the ones you like…Good Luck Paul

They were driving out as of last wednesday! Thursday the first pick up truck and yesterday was “put your perenant shack out” day. LOTS of full size pick ups and Suburbans too…NOT me, I need the excersise!!! Plus,the fish are NOT biting! This am was crazy with all the vehicles,looks like I take a few days off,let it settle down a bit. Paul
