22 is before you get to fishermens road its on the lower side of the onalaska spilway

Ok I have been reading the posts and noticing you guys arent doing too hot…I havent been out to fish since last week but i can say that 22 if you go away from the billions of little crappie catchers, and head for where the island makes a little inlet, you can catch some jumbos….biggest gills of the year i caught there a week ago (18). Also, if you head to fishermens road and go straight out and a little right frmo the end…find 4 feet of water with weeds and use a glow jig you can get some really nice ones….good luck, too bad I have school or i would be there every day

I went to fishemens road on Friday and got about 10 ok sized gills, and in the afternoon went 22 for some crappies. People were keeping crappies smaller than the gills i had so i knew what was bitting there… then on saturday nothing was biting at fishermens.. Anyone have a good suggestion for sunday/monday?

I went to 22 yesturday and got 13 slabs. I fished in 6fow and used waxies. Lots of little ones getting in the way but a good day overall. I also have better light at night.

I went out on Saturday and it seemed like no one was catching anything. I took a couple of days off and am going to hit it hard for the rest of the week….any good reports? Good luck all

I have an older black tent, one that you can stand up in. I went there about 7 AM but noticed that everyone started comming around 9, the bigger ones were bighting after that i assumed, but i had to go so didnt get to check it out. Thursday morning I went more twards the open water off the steeper shoreline. I’m going with my dad saturday he has a new blue gander mt. tent good luck!

Hey guys, I have been reading the form for about a week now and decided to join in the conversations. I went fishing Wednesday night and Thursday morning at 22, there were a lot of small crappies suspended 3-5 in 9 fow only a few keepers Eealy in the year I was catchign some good gills and perch at Nelson, I’m going to try 22 again Saturday to see if I cant find some slab crappies.
