I was gonna make a few suggestions, but then thought twice as I do not want to be held responsible if someone blows themself up.

    Sorry,. and good luck.

    No problem Steve….

and CC, when was the last time a handgun just jumped up and killed someone? The answer is Never. Only when someone picked it up and operated it. That pitbull lying on the floor doesn’t need someone to pick it up and pull the trigger.

Sorry if this thread offended your sensibilities Bret. I started the thread because this sort of thing happens too often. Yes, all dogs can bite, all dogs can be viscious, all can turn, they are animals. Heck, it happens to people too. Look at the nut cases at Columbine, CO etc…Point is, seems like the majority of people KILLED by dogs are KILLED by Pits, not border collies, blue healers, black and tans or great danes.

My personal feeling is these dogs should not be allowed in “residential” areas. Call it my agenda if you will, but I do not care for these dogs. Fortunatly I no longer live in the city or a “residential” area. The beauty of where I live now, is I can shoot the first aggressive dog that trots across my property. I do not care if it is a pit bull or a pomaranian. If it is aggressive and comes after my kids, my wife or my lab, its gonna suffer from High Speed lead poisoning.

As long as were talking about my agenda’s…keep an eye out for my posts against Billary Clinton and the rest of the left wing taxahollics that will surely apear in the next several months.

Not sure I have ever read about a lab, collie, poodle etc…MAULING and KILLING anyone. BIG difference between Being bitten and being KILLED.

I don’t mind being called a woman, especially when its comes from such a nice transvestite as Kooty.

Nice to see your having fun Lou. Those little rat reds are fun and tastey, but the bigguns are more fun to catch and release.

This is a Jacksonville Fla redfish. Photo is from 2001.

It goes both ways. Its not just the “buyers”. I pm’d someone about an item listed. Its still shown as for sale. I never even got a response.

#4 will probably own most every record in the book by the end of this season. Not to mention he has never missed a game! His starting streak is incredible. In comparison, it makes Cal Ripkens look tame.

Marino was a great passer, Montana was a great team leader, Elway managed the game well, Unitas, Starr and Tarkington were good feild generals. Bret is a great football player who plays his position very well. He is definately in the top 5.

    Nuff said

Too bright and sunny yesterday for the eyes. Guess they were deep, or asleep. Managed one 5 lb laker before the wind picked up.

Its not even a slap on the wrist. Shoulda been more like the fine Mc Laren got in F1 racing.

Maybe forfeit a few games, loose a couple MILLION bucks and banned from playoffs for a few years…kinda like the NCAA death penalty for cheaters.

The coastguard tag HP rating is derived from the boats ability to remain afloat (level floatation) when swamped. Its actually a weight issue, not a hp issue.

This may need to be change in the future if the large weight disparity between 2 stroke and 4 stroke motors doesn’t change.

    I got a 75 on my new Mirrocraft 1750.

It’ll do 38mph with me, my gear, 30 gal’s of gas and a full livewell.

Didnt make it up that far, as the forcast was for winds to pick up on monday. I did however fish the south shore out of Superior. As forcasted, got blown off by noon, but before that I caught 1 keeper walleye, 2 shorts, lost 3 boatside, and finished the day in deeper water with 1- 22″ laker.

From all I am hearing from my buddies who get to fish the pond more than I do…the lakers are tearing it up near Silver aby RIGHT NOW! 4 freinds of mine are heading out as I type this. I am going tomorrow after the honey do’s are done today.

E-tech’s don;t require mixing oil, additionally, they do not smoke like conventional (older) 2 strokes. Add that to the fact they weight 30% less than the 4 strokes, AND have NO maintenance requirements for the first THREE years, I’d say its a no brainer. I ALMOST put a brand new 75 on my new boat but my 2001 ficht 75 still runs like a top and it was cheaper to convert it to a tiller and hang it on the new boat, so I kept it.

My next brand new motor will be an e-tech.

I could ask the same question. Yesterday my work cell phone (left in truck overnight) showed a call at 0130 from a number I didn’t know, so I called it back…….at 0645. It was a very hung over and sleepy sounding woman. I asked her who she was, she said “Shhhaaarrron”, then asked who I was, I replied, “you tell me, you called me at 0130” She was silent for a few moments then replied that she might have called a wrong number on the way home from the bar. I laughed and said, “Ok, Well you have a great day!” in the loudest most cheerful voice I could muster, and hung up.

Yes, the Brew crew has let the pennant slowly slip away in the last month.

Why do we taser people who have shown total disregard for others?

A well placed double tap would save the taxpayers a TON of money.

Glad to hear you and the better half are ok BK.

Thanks for all the great replies. I love this thing, and look forward to many hours in it fishing as well as tweaking things, like getting it set up with rope lights, light in the live well, new trolling motor and some wave wackers.

First time on the water today, she rides awsome, a little slower out of the hole than my old boat, but then again, this one is a foot longer and 2 feet wider and I am sure MUCH heavier. I did adjust the pin on the motor to get it to trim under a bit more, so maybe that will help some.
I took her out on the big pond (Superior) in some 3-4 foot waves, rides really nice, no water over the bow. Its really stable when in the trough sideways too! Went back into the harbor and the river. Ran her wide open, I could only get 38mph in the 1-2 foot chop and confused waves in the harbor. Tried a little trolling and she trolls down to just a smidge over 2mph. Gonna try a small lake tomorrow and see how she does.

All I know is that the fish are already wet, they don’t care if it rains.

How is it on the wrong side? I drive Fords and the filler is on the drivers side, just like the boat.

Yeah, it has carpet BK, It would cost MORE to have it without. Then again, when I am fishing kitty’s, I am fishing for eater size ones, so they only touch the livewell.
