Well it’s about time you show up to the hawkeye state! and THANKS again for comming down. Need to bring BIGGER bottles next time Thursday was a banner day for kevin and I. We took 27 back to camp, several over 12, and one 13-14. (We never measured it) Hope to see you again next spring, as we will do it all over again.

Yep coppertop, you are correct sir!!! My freind was so excited to get his first cape job of the year, we almost forgot to snap a pic. Was kinda nice to be done with all the rain that came sat-thurs.

Not too sure of your location, but the independence area is good after ice out behind the dairy queen. Green glitter twisters has been very sucessful for me in the past. Have not been there in quite sometime, however I know there are good eyes in that river Good luck and let us know how you do where ever you go Eye

Not too much, considering it is usually a waste of time Don’t get me wrong…there are good fish to be caught, just few and far between We are desparate for a quality fishery around here!! I like to fish the river and it’s backwaters, also I have a farm pond in your neck of the woods, i would like to get back to. Rick….are you listening???

I drove over there and seen all the tents and decided to take my boys over to fisher to the depths of 4 FOW. They caught all gills I could handle between the two poles that were in the water. black and white tear drops tipped with waxies. Boy I wish I had the camera . Iced 6 that were 7-8″, all the rest were 5-6″. We released them all after only a hour and a half of fishing. Between the wind and cold temps, they were ready to go.
    Tight lines & good fishing!

Have a friend that lives close to there, that has been doing well around the brush piles in front of the handi-cap dock.(he’d kill me if he knew I were saying this) Depending on what you are after, the bass are really starting to go on the chew

The ever popular orange and chartruse 10-12 FOW. Soon as the sun breeched the bluff they shut down and went deep with lockjaw All in all, a great way to finish a weeks vacation in Las Vegas.
