I hav an 01 D-max and it pulls like a dream. I get an average of 18.5 mpg. No i am not chipped. I hauled Chappy’s truck from Cloquet a couple weeks ago when he decided to blow the motor outta his truck. I put the tow/haul mode on and hit the cruise at 75 all the way home. Yeah she sucked the fuel down ( I never figuered my mileage but I figure some where around 11 or 12 mpg),but it pulled that truck with out breakin a sweat. I would love to get an 06 just for the fuel mileage they get with that 6 speed Tranny. I have test drivin a few and they are sweet. The 07 are suppose to be better.

I have an 01 D-max. I put custum rims on with 265/75/16’s. I pulled my uncles 17.5 foot Crestliner Fish hawk From Hastings to lake vermillion and back on one tank of fuel. I had the truck loaded with my things and his boat.I hand calculated it it and I got 18.5 mpg. Not to mention I drove into town twice on the same tank of fuel. In the end it was about 600 miles before I filled it up again. And I am still getting the same fuel mileage. Love the truck and don’t mind the little bit of extra maintence. Especially when you hook up and haul.

This is how women think of it. I only know because I have heard it many times. ” My money is her money and her money is her money.” I just go out buy what I want and give her the recipt and leave it at that. Yeah she gets mad but she gets over it.

I don’t add anything to my fuel. MAybe some anti gel additive when it gets real cold but other then that i don’t put in anything. Not even in the work truck (Tractor Trailer).

True I forgot about that. Been along time. It use to be a tight fit with the old bass boat and they sit low in the water.

Spring lake access would be a quick straight shot accross over to Grey clound othrwise I would use St. Paul Park. Alittle bit of a run but it would beat going through the dam.

There was at least 5 (that I saw) make there way through pool 8 this week.
There should also be a lot of coal headed for Alma. The power plant ran out over a week ago. I bet someone got there chewed out

I have been one of the many trucks hauling coal from Genoa up to Alma. Nice run along the river in a few spots. SOunds like we are done now that the barges are in service. maybe a couple more weekends but that is it. Alot of guys fishing down in Genoa. I couldn’t believe all the people and boats fishing down there. My question is, are they bitting or are you guys just making it look good? I even saw the Amish down there one day. They had there horse a buggy parked across from the dam. They have been fishing it hard the last couple weeks.
