Have your local Evinrude dealer do a search on “Dealerport”. They can look up old parts at all dealers nationwide. You will need the part number. There are alot of older dealers that have old parts in stock. Hope this helps you out.

According to all the discipline reports we received… that would have been my son…
March 28, 2012 at 11:17 pm #1053607If you had any warranty work done – Evinrude will have a record of it. Any Evinrude dealer can look up the information online using your engine Model & Serial number. Please contact Evinrude directly using their customer service phone number. Also, we used to keep all hard copies of service work orders for YEARS so we could look up the information if needed.
November 14, 2011 at 11:03 pm #1008879Don’t feel bad, when I was in the boat business we had a few we had to winterize twice.. You just never know what mother nature will throw at you. I am enjoying this fall.
September 8, 2011 at 12:35 am #993509Thanks! That was entertaining. We don’t live too far away and have been through there many times. Even had lunch at the cafe a time or two..
July 26, 2011 at 10:10 pm #983982It doesn’t look like it from the Evinrude website. They have a parts lookup feature. You would need the model of the 1996 motor, or the part number off the T&T unit..to be sure. Otherwise, call a local dealer, they should be able to tell you if it would work. Sorry, I don’t have those books any longer..
June 10, 2011 at 1:16 am #972306Try Evinrude customer service phone number. They may have a solution for you. Their older parts went to the west coast and some may be located for you..
May 4, 2011 at 12:05 am #963097We had the local upholstry place come and measure and he whipped them up in a day or so. I ordered the material direct from the place that supplies to Alumacraft and ordered the snaps from Alumacraft. That way everything matched perfectly. I would think any upholstry place could do the same thing for you.
April 30, 2011 at 9:51 pm #962149I second Flynn’s. They made quite a few covers for our customers. Quality work.
April 26, 2011 at 11:21 pm #960923No problem. You explained it well!
I miss the fishing boat sales and our CUSTOMERS the most.April 26, 2011 at 11:18 pm #960927Found it. Here is a photo of the snap cover.

April 26, 2011 at 11:14 pm #960925We had a few custom covers built for them with the same type/color upholstry fabric and put snaps on them. We double folded the material so it was smooth on both sides. That way you could snap the covers on for storage and unsnap them while fishing for ease of use.
Sorry I thought I had photos, but they must be on another computer.April 26, 2011 at 11:03 pm #960911With the age of your motor, I would use the XD30. Here is more information:

My son is looking at ROTC, he comes from a long line of soldiers.April 11, 2011 at 9:19 pm #956093I’ve never seen that type of problem with any Alumacraft jon boat. I sold them for 15 years, plus our business sold them since the 70’s.. Talk to Alumacraft warranty dept. You may have to contact Arkansas as that is where they are made. They stand behind their product.
March 24, 2011 at 11:35 pm #950465That sounds correct from what I remember. Dad has all the old manuals at his house…
March 24, 2011 at 11:30 pm #950464I agree, lovely dogs. I had one when I was a youth. She was trained to hand signals for hunting and would stay within a certain area around me hunting. She also loved to ride in the boat. She was a great dog.
March 4, 2011 at 11:10 pm #944171I sold quite a few Alumacraft tunnel jon boats. All the guys loved them. Note: the ones I sold took a long shaft motor. Be sure you check out transom height.
January 17, 2011 at 11:02 pm #927163That motor is heavy. What rpm levels is it running? If you wish to look further into purchasing it, please have the dealer run an engine report and look up any warranty issues on the Dealer Evinrude site. We didn’t have any trouble with the FICHT motors we sold, but they had to be set up correctly.
December 12, 2010 at 12:59 pm #916422Yes, this is a very common problem with tons of snow & drifting. I got a call at midnight on a furnace problem and I’m not even a technician! After talking to the owner, narrowed it down to a condensate pump that had quit working. Problem solved and their house is warm.
December 11, 2010 at 11:09 pm #916327The snowplow truck gets stuck in your driveway… finally got him out with help from another snowplow. Thankfully I didn’t have to work today. Spent the afternoon baking.
Stay safe everyone.November 27, 2010 at 3:59 pm #912662We purchased a ’94 Chevy Lumina for our daughter at 16 – lasted until she was 20. Now she purchased a Ford Focus 4 door sedan. Much better gas mileage.
We purchased a ’95 Grand Am – red for our 16 yr old son. (What were we thinking!!!) But no tickets, yet.. I don’t think this one will last as long though.
He really wanted a Ford F150. Maybe next time..November 23, 2010 at 11:37 pm #911922We took the trip to FL a few years ago. The kids loved Sea World. They were able to pet the stingrays and loved the shows. Everyone is right though, it is a one day park.
Enjoy your trip!
We booked through our local travel agent and saved enough on the hotel to pay for the rental car.November 20, 2010 at 2:13 pm #911054Congratulations!
Our “baby” is now 16! Enjoy these years, as they go so fast..October 27, 2010 at 11:24 pm #889236Happy Birthday!!
The wind is awful. We lost the top of one of our big pine trees last night. The good news is that it didn’t hit anything.
