Is there a setup if your sinker is snagged but you know you have a fish on but it’s unable to take out the snagged sinker.. an easy break off sinker??
This is rigging set up I use to use. Take a spinner bait arm and clip them so both ends are equal also cut the little u turn so both sides are straight. The spinner bait arm must be a closed one not the open ones. Then simply slide an egg sinker over it. This will do two things, one it will act like a small bottom bouncer and second when you get snagged just apply pressure the egg sinker will stay lodged and all you have to do is add another egg sinker and continue fishing.
I would recommend a physical therapist to learn proper stretching and muscle building. Then there is no rest for the wicked, stretch and exercise every two hours. Use the pain meds for a tool to execute your stretches and strength building. Get off the meds as soon as you can stand it. Then know in you heart after you are healed you have to continue to stretch and exercise every day to hopefully prolong the next time it may happen again. For me the next time it happened it wasn’t as long healing time.
Best of luck to ya, it does get better even if it don’t feel that way now.
I have the milk if you are going to defend your title, no entry from ya yet?
Still spots available, this event has been filled the last 25 of 26 years!

everything workout?
I talked to Jerry today. It seems he hit something at idle speed when leaving Grey Cloud, after that he could not get the motor started. He then used his trolling motor to get to the main channel. The sheriff got him to the landing at about 2:00am.
I believe Jerry said he called Ramsey County non emergency and about a hour and a half later the Water Patrol Sheriff called him back.
Water Patrol Sheriff is launching and in route to get Jerry off the water.

Thanks for taking the tournament over. The Mn Pole benders had done a 1st class job with this for years and I am sure you will do very well also. I have been fishing it for 7 years and will continue as long as I can. I do know several of the teams if you need any contact info. Chris
Thanks Chris, our club is looking forward to this event and keeping it going. I have the MN PoleBenders angler list and will contact participants that have fished the last four years. But feel free to spread the word if some of the anglers contact information has changed.

We are waiting on permit, I don’t feel there are any off limits. I will update this post when I get the permit.

welcome to IDO!
Thanks FishBite. I have been a member before here on IDO but when I logged in for some reason it was another members profile so I opened another account.
The field is limited to 40 teams. Please help spread the word that Gopher BassMaster’s are going to keep this long running tournament going since the MN PoleBenders have stepped down. Thank’s to the MN PoleBenders for the first 24 Years and we are happy as a club to take the reigns, we will have the same payouts and the same format as the MN PoleBenders. I will be trying to contact the field that has fished the event for the last 4 years to let them know we are accepting applications April 1, 2010.
