Hi Bonnie, that really sucks and I hope your friend gets his shack back and those who stole it gets what coming to them. I don’t know if friend has yet posted to any other sites but I would post it on lake link also. I am not a fan of the site but there is alot of members there especially from Wisconsin. Best of luck to your friend.

HI Brian, One of my fishing buddies has switched over to those for Salmon. We fish Lake Michigan and he has told me no problems at all with them. I have used on his boat and they are a nice reel. The drag system operates smoothly and withstands the long runs of big (25lbs+) Salmon. I think Shimano is again putting out qaulity reels and you should be happy with them. Those 7000’s are nice reels too, I know how hard it is to switch when you find something that performs well for you. Good Luck.

Look at it from PETA’s point of view, who uses those clay Pigeon launcher’s mostly. Yes I know some guys only shoot trap, but PETA don’t care about that just getting more ammunition for their cause. The actions of those a-holes is still wrong and Yes I am a sportman.

That just is not right. It is people like that, that gets PETA riled up and causes problems for the rest of sportsmans. Personally I think they should be fined for there actions and maybe lose hunting priviledges.

Thanks for the input guys, I am still undecided, I do not want to slow my system down any or have other complications so I am leary.

Hi Pug, a thought on those small peices, don’t we have them already from the floating vegatation being there and props churning and shoping them up during loading and unloading. Maybe the reduction of the floating vegatation would also lead to a reduction in small peices. Again just a thougt.
