Wow, what a great article. Todd told me to read this as this post was about me. Yes he is a great friend and it was an honor to have him help as he did. I have been shotgun hunting for around 15 years but only picked up a bow this year. Tried a couple of times last year but not seriously.

The biggest thing I have learned so far is I have a lot to learn. Todd and I haven’t really seen each other for almost 20 years. He found out through a mutual friend I was struggling and called me offering help. Everyone should have such friends…Thanks Todd

I do know that in Barron County where Im from allows trolling but Im not sure where else. Im glad I started reading this becuase now I know what to look for in the dnr book. I guess I have always wondered myself as to what we can and cant do here in wisconsin. hope ya’ll are having fun fishing. Cant wait to get back out there and try myslef.

yea know all I have been thinking of is going cat fishing again. I have been looking at the lakes and rivers around here in wisconsin, looking for a good place to go some time. I was looking at the lake in my home town wondering if maybe it had catfish in it the size like Mike had gotten. I think the lakes around cumberland are all spring fed waters. Maybe some one could help me out here.

I can say that it was a nice cathc. I was the one that took the pic. I was amazed at how hard it is to see one come in. I may be a newbie at this but I think its great to see such a nice fish like the ones that he brought in. I had never been cat fishing and I think its the best. only wish I could have been the one to bring at least one of them. Maybe next time, Im going to have to go out and get a licence so I can go next time we go out fishing. LOL!! I would love to be able to do some of the fishing. Any how nice cat mike!!

I would like to get some information on the difference of a musky and the pike. I have seen my fair share of muskies but have not really seen much of a pike. Now a friend of mine has told me and Im still very interested in finding out more about them. I would like to be able to go out and see where they are at. Im from wisconsin and have seen some really promissing spots.

I looked out to see it but saw nothing. I am wondering if it wasnt going to happen tonite. My mom was talking about it this weekend and she was not sure either. Now I have to ask if the moon has an affect on catfish at all. Im only wondering becuase Ive been thinking of going again.
