So does that mean no rails and no trolling motor?

Alright the boat looks sweet James. But let’s get down to the details because as we all know that is where the devil is at. I assume the standard features will include a bow trollling motor and two trolling batteries along with a 3-bank on-board charger, yes? It would be nice to have stainless steel rails in the cockpit as well. I can’t imagine anyone not wanting them. This package has to come in at 30K or else, quite frankly, it just won’t compete with the Ranger 1850 Angler on price or resale value. I would love to hear your thoughts.
    Thanks

Would you care to back off that somewhat aggresive statement. I have done plenty of research on 18′ tin boats with 150HP four strike Yamahas and they come in at under $30,000. Will this rig really be under $30,000?

Back off from that statement? Heck no. There’s been a price point target with this boat from day 1 and until someone tells me that’s changed… they’re right on target.

Pricing hasn’t been finalized so things may change. A little. Even if it does change upward it will still be very close to the original goal set during the first rounds of design planning for this boat.

I assume the above still holds true. I would hate for a little bait and switch and then blame the factory for a higher price point.

Late spring I am guessing June 19th, arghh. Now we can’t even get a firm date on when new info will become available. Very curious if the price has creeped up as well.

I thought you were a Tuffy guy to the core. Do they know?

Just like all these threads are “just talk” until someone not actually building or selling the MX actually sees one!

Sounds like a possible bargaining point.
Boy I really like the rig but the color just doesn’t seem quite right. You know what? I think I would feel better if you could, how should I say this? Make it worth my while.

I was kicking around black onyx with midnight burgundy or fusion blue or silver hologram with the burgundy or blue. What do you guys think of going with a white running surface? I was hoping the stupid muskies wouldn’t get freaked out by a white bottom boat when they show up to torment me. LOL

James, I was using an 18′ G3 with a 150HP Four stroke. I am not sure of the exact model.

I know on the last thread that James mentioned the price point would be less than a tin boat of comparable length with the MX1825 “tricked out”. Would you care to back off that somewhat aggresive statement. I have done plenty of research on 18′ tin boats with 150HP four strike Yamahas and they come in at under $30,000. Will this rig really be under $30,000?

I hope this doesn’t get anyone in trouble but I heard the MX seris boat will be an 1825 single or dual console with a 50″ livewell in the stern and 102″ rod lockers.
