Lawrence Lake Marina has a nice new courtesy dock right below the lake, I think it is 5 buck to use it though to put the boat in there

This tournament is going to take place at the Lawrence Lake Marina in Brownsville MN on March 4th. We are trying to get as much stuff for the kids as we can to promote fishing. Just getting the ball rolling a bit later than we wanted to.

December 21, 2011 at 6:33 pm #1020014Guys were all right out front of the Marina–I have not been up to the lake, but it sounds like it was slow up there from a couple guys I have talked to–another good indicator is that there has been very little parked cars up there.
April 14, 2011 at 4:01 pm #957172I have a 165 navigator with the 90 etec–love it–get about 38 out of it on the gps for mph. I dont know if I would drop down to a 70 or 75. as for the difference in the 2 of those, I do not know.
February 4, 2011 at 4:00 pm #933743Fairly sure it is $20 bucks to get in. Last time they had an option for $10 bucks for any kids that wanted to get in. The kids got all thier 10 bucks and more back–I thought that was a pretty nice deal.
January 28, 2011 at 1:25 pm #931309There is one in Brownsville on the 5th of Feb–they have a website that lists their events http://www.lawrencelakemarina.com–I was at the last one and the turn out was pretty good
January 4, 2011 at 1:21 pm #922387I saw the flyer on this–looked like they were going to pay out 3 places for Crappie, Sun fish, Perch, and Northern. Door prizes were 20 dollar items and up, nothing huge, but nice stuff and gift cards, etc. I am going and have talked to a lot of people that are going, should be fun. Talked to the owner, sounded like they wanted to get the first place prizes in the 250 range for cash –all depends on turn out though
Lawrence Lake Marina is located down below La Crecent about 5 miles on the MN Side

I am using Internet Explorer for access and am still having problems–once logged in at least. If I log off and use as a visitor, things show up current. Also–the issues are only when I hit the home icon. Any ideas???
March 25, 2010 at 4:49 pm #857236Try Dan’s Bar or the Trophy House in New Trier–places are packed every Friday night—between Farmington and Redwing on Hwy 50–About 3 miles East of Hwy 52–Both places are all you can eat for a bit over 10 bucks I think
March 5, 2010 at 4:02 pm #849607God I miss that lake
Use to skip a lot of class chasing those paper lips around that lake! Nice Job! I managed 11.5 inch sunfish out in the same area you are talking–you guys find any of those this year?

October 12, 2007 at 4:08 pm #30109Go with the Lightfield’s(2 3/4)–they seem to do well in my 870. Flat to 100 yards and pretty good even out at 150. I also hear the Hornady makes a slug that shoots flat out at 150?? I havent looked into those as of yet.

April 24, 2007 at 4:54 pm #564040We use to pluck and do all that work, but I think it is much easier to just cut the breast out and take the legs out without the skin. Then there is no need to pluck. I would get your pics done and then just cut the meat out. We have been deep frying the last few years–very tasty!!
Good luck

Probably be a tough bite tomorrow then ah!?? Any roughies?? I have some friends that are in a rough fish contest that might head down–I thought the activity for the red horse and carp slowed down dramatically over the last few weeks.
Thanks again

April 3, 2007 at 7:11 pm #556460I would try any of the game farms in the area. Wild wings is sort of in your direction. There is probably one closer. They would be able to tell you who to call. I think most of those places buy birds from a grower also.
