    hey sorry for being so late with a picture I’ve been so busy catching pike I haven’t had time to sit down a show anything here is a nice one from the first day he went 34″ 8 1/2 lbs

    Yes ths is in the northern lower. We have tried to anchor at the top of the basin but there is alot of boat traffic. not fisherman but ferrys so its hard to stay there during the day. what colors would you suggest for jigging at night. would you try to tip the jig with a minnow or a grubtail? we have talked to alot of guys that do pretty well but they all say the bite sops in the deeper water at night what do you think we should try to trigger a night bite jigging? thank you for the great replys!

    Thank you for a warm welcome

    I go to school in illinois and have been ice fishing there but now safe ice is out of the question after the hard rain we got yesterday. im still looking to get out after some gills tomorrow any suggestions on how i should approach this.
