Used to have Direct TV, switched to Dish a few years back. Would have to say Dish has much better DVR options. You can record two shows at once while watching other shows previously recorded. If you have kids you will use this feature all the time so mom & dad can watch programs while the kids are watching their shows. A Direct TV consultant tried to get me to switch back but had to admit that Dish DVR was far better at this time. I really like the Dish HD programing also. I have a HD channel that’s all fishing shows 24/7/365.
