February 6, 2009 at 3:55 pm #745385Kenn’s one liners and eye for capturing the moments and telling stories of them,,,, Will be missed if he is to leave us.
“I saw them on the kenai (russian river is bear central!)… in fact the russian river is a strange place where your just as likely to see fisherman that look like hunters as they were packing “heat”… earlier this year a fisherman got slapped around by a brown bear… I was told he wasnt “mauled”… cuz he didnt get hurt.. but what a strange idea… what.. did the bear walk up.. grab him by the lapels and slap his face back and forth? anyway..”

March 22, 2006 at 4:20 am #432100I feel it takes a special type of “CONVICTION , PERSONAlITY and strength” to offer to our Nation your possible sacrafice of your life. You need that in A soldier to be sucessfull in a war. No matter how he died, he did what he set out to do. which was fight for his country’s fellow Men and Women’s well being. We need this type of enlisted Men and women in our armed forces. I don’t think he was killed for any other reason than Combat friendly fire. Let’s focus and pray for all the troops , the safe the injured and the dead ! I think the media has done anything and everything for a big story. And they will stop at nothing ! GOD BLESS Pat Tillman
February 3, 2006 at 8:43 pm #417489“SO THAT’S HOW YOUR SUPPOSE TO HUNT” I GET IT NOW YOU HAVE SOMEONE GO OUT AND GIVE THE DEER THAT DATE RAPE DRUG FIRST THEN SHOOT THE ANIMAL. OR TRANQUILIZE THE BIG ONE IN THE WILD PEN IT UP THEN JIMMY CAN PAY $20,000 FOR HIS SHOW/SHOT!!! WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO HUNTING HARD AND THE THE SASISFACTION OF YOUR HARD WORK? PEOPLE ARE LOSING THE SITE OF WHAT ANY REAL HUNT IS ABOUT.
“I WONDER HOW MANY DRUGGED AND PENED UP BASS JIMMY AND OTHERS HAVE CAUGHT OVER THE YEARS?”

January 29, 2006 at 10:30 pm #415783Hi Steve! I am Croixman’s wife and I am a Technical person…..you can try going to you Hard Drive most people have it named C:\ but you may have it partioned differently. From your Hard Drive (Local disk) let’s assume it is C:\ go to C:\Program Files and look for AOL there- simply delet it and this should do the trick! Good Luck!!!

January 1, 2006 at 4:51 pm #408209We just got back from LOW 28th – 30th 2 days fishing 27 walleyes thru the ice out from Adrians in 21 to 24 ft of water our better catches came at 9 to 11am and 1 to 3pm but real spotty everything in between. I was hearing fishing was better in 12 to 17 just outside or in four mile bay. With The wheather patterns we have been having , maybe have the fish thinking more like spring time in more shallow yet and not real deep. While we were there , 30′ only produced 4 fish for 4 other fisherman all day and I heard from others real spotty fishing 30′. but it might be a different story out of Zipple Bay.. Jeff

December 9, 2005 at 3:16 pm #13093Your right they have exploded on me. My hunting practice I do in the woods up and down hill 10-50 yards, anyways I clipped a tree limb and the arrow deflecked missing my 3d delta bear. The arrow ended up hitting a little more brush and hit a log lying behind my target. The arrow was in 5 different little chunks from 10 – 30 yards behind my target. Carbon are decent as lonk as they hit the mark.

December 9, 2005 at 2:47 pm #13089I like EASTON AXIS carbon with 4″ veins. I shoot alot and noticed they seem to be one of the most accurate/forgiving and long lasting arrowshafts I have shot. Of couse the accuracy comes for a properly set up bow. And they are long lasting as long as they hit the target. Goodluck finding the right Archery equiptment for your target/hunting needs. Jeff
