Sportsman Direct has them too. The guys love em I ordered 20 for the gang last year. They make em for MarCums and Vexilars too I think they were like 9 bucks a piece.
December 16, 2009 at 1:53 pm #823773James – You guys left some cold behind you on the flight back home. We will be fishing Saturday if not sooner

April 4, 2009 at 11:21 pm #765733Reeds had less than 100 left when I talked to Jeff Friday morning.. For $299 where you gonna go? Just call there 800 number and ask for Jeff. I think he has a deal running on VS 380 cameras too. Worth checking out.

Anyone ask if it is recondition? I also just ordered one but never asked. I dont know why I need 2 lx-5 but hey you never now. For that price I think I might go the He-l.
These are brand new units. Due to overstock were providing a great value to our loyal and new customers. Reeds has been doing a fine job getting these out to consumers quick. Call the 800-346-0019 and ask for Jeff. Have your credit card at the ready when you call, there about gone..

Anyone can catch fish at anytime however, so it’ll probably be some guys from out east that find a pod of nicer crappies.
Joel
Joel I won’t be heading west to fish it, going to Vermont in March for the Bomoseen event.
January 5, 2009 at 6:40 pm #694219Maki (Scott) is from Gasport, NY and has been designing insect specific creatures for a lot of years, he has a $20 pro pack you can order from his site so you can play with a bunch of his creations before placing orders for more. I can tell you since I have been fishing them the past 5 years that the maki, guppi and bloodi are my best baits to tip for gills and crappies. The stoni is one of my favorites for open water crappies in the spring.
March 11, 2008 at 4:44 pm #664322For some reason I can’t keep the “grass rats” pickerel off the gold one
February 4, 2008 at 3:12 pm #651313I think that those guys have never had to deal with interference very much, that’s what I think. Maybe they just wanted you away from there prime spots as well. It’s been proven by some of the top NAIFC fishers that you can get multiple manufacturer unit’s to work at least fishable.
November 3, 2007 at 11:46 am #622174Thanks Jon that’s exactly what I was thinking would be the easiest way to go
November 1, 2007 at 11:37 pm #621761I’m fishing the nationals up there in December what do you guys usually put on the portables in 2″ letters?
November 1, 2007 at 6:33 pm #1435219Dave – I just wanted to tell you that I’m sorry I haven’t been on much lately (fishing and things)and that your grubs are still kicking butt on eyes out east. I just got a report from Todd a buddy of mine who has been fishing 3″ tails his whole life and done quite well. He used some 5″ K grubs Black and Silver that I gave him to try tonight and he was absolutely hooked instantly! He fished an in flow canal off Oneida lake here in Central New York and walloped some nice eyes. He caught 14 in an hour! He called me and hardly couldn’t contain himself over the phone. Besides Black and silver, firecracker and bleeding shiner are my favorites. We usually dab a little scent on the grubs we fish but the K-Grubs didn’t need em. Thanks Dave for carrying a great product!
May 29, 2007 at 12:25 pm #31799Dave – We hit em good on the your 5″ black and silver K-Grubs fishing off a rock shoal in 15′ to 17′ of water.

April 23, 2007 at 1:06 pm #563524Here’some pics from Friday’s perch run…
Thunderman, Dark Cloud, Tank and I did some perching today on the Big O. It was a slow pick all day but we managed 54 nice perch between the two boats. Dark Cloud released quite a few walleyes. Drop shot minnow rigs again and a beautiful day to be on the water. Jay also caught a nice pickerel too, Here’s some shots…
Tank and Dark Cloud early morning and Dark Cloud holding a dandy eye…
Tank with a perch
Todd with a nice one
Todd releasing a nice 20″ waldo…
How you guys doin on minnows?
Livewell shot, nice
April 16, 2007 at 8:46 pm #561355Thanks guys… Had just enough time to choke a couple a slices down with the boat ride to the spot. A buddy pointed out in the one pick that it looked like Todd was giving me the finger
January 15, 2007 at 8:24 pm #523094Thanks guys…
It’s about 35 degrees. Usually were on it around the 3rd week in January but with the unusual fall conditions we have had nothing cold to look forward too but should get lucky this week, but Oneida will be a crapshoot if it will have safe ice this season. Unless something major happens as far as cold will be lucky to get out on her at all this season.
There’s nothing that get’s my blood pumping when using braided line and a walleye smashes your plug, the fights not the best but the strike is what keeps me going back.. Released alot of fish last night and a majority were males. It was probably my last open water trip and I was lucky to finish with a flurry.January 10, 2007 at 6:27 pm #520925Hear hear, Thank God! Us in the east have been dreaming of this for a while now. We got our first significant snow last night. Thanks for posting Mr. monkeybutti’s report

December 17, 2006 at 1:05 am #512050Well the no ice theme plays on..
Went out on Oneida with Team Marine Steve Greving in his Lund and had a decent day for fishing some serious wind and whitecaps. We boated 13 eyes with Steve’s 22″ being the biggest of the lot. We did better casting challengers late around the bar area which coincidentally Tuzzy was fishing in the preachers box and had a couple of keepers before the sun went down. It was nice to see Tuzzy cashing in. We took most of the fish during the day on BFishN 5″ K Grubs in bleeding shiner and 3/16 oz. heads and Steve planer boarded a couple keeepers on an HJ 10 blue/chrome husky jerk. We picked up 4 fish working the rock pile and that’s where Steve caught the 22″. We finished up over by the bar and picked up 7 more before the wind completely died. On the way over from the rock pile yours truly slipped on the trolling motor foot cable and fell flat on my arse and snapped my favorite hot rod express rod, classic move on my part as usual
Any how here’s the pics and it was great finally meeting Steve…Steve really liked the gold challenger junior…
