    Jeremy,

Thank you so much for showing me around!! You are correct by saying the weather was anything but ideal. We did catch some great fish though!! Hopefully they stay put and will be going on Saturday. If anyone has a opportunity to share a boat with Jeremy take him up on it, you won’t regret it. First class gentleman for sure!! I had a great time and learned a lot about pool 13. Looking forward to fishing with you again soon. I will let you know what I find tomorrow and how things worked out on Saturday.

    Thanks again!!

I was there Friday evening and enjoyed the show as well. It was a LONG interesting ride home for me Friday night. It was great seeing Dan and Casey again. Class act gentlemen, that’s for sure!! I was able to meet Darin, DNort and chat with Slop and BC. Always a pleasure fellas. Darin, I found out that Chuck Munyon(sp?) from Cuba City is some how related to you through marriage or something. Chuck is a great guy. He is in my bass club and we talk and hang out quite a bit. Once in awhile we even get into a few beers. I talked to him on Saturday and told him that I met you Friday night. Small world!! It was great to meet you all and see the others again.

You got it. The campgroud you are talking about is called Whitetail Bluff. There is another campground only a few miles from there called Big H campground. Big H is right on the river in McCartney Lake area. If you are ever down this way let me know. We will have to hook up.

Isn’t the healthy Northern Pike population in the Mississippi river the reason they had to decrease the bag limit on Gil’s? How about a Potosi pike pickling party?

brovarney, Do you know where Potosi is??

I’m still looking for a non-boater to sign up with. Anyone interested?

I tired your e-mail also, and I don’t think it went through. I am planning on fishing the Prairie Du Chein tournament if you are interested. [email protected]

Hi all, I am fairly new to this board, actually just registered today, but I have been a quiet visitor for almost a year. I just started getting into bass fishing last year, up until that time I have been busy fishing musky. I have a lot to learn about bass fishing, especially on the river. Kind of strange that I have lived within 2-5 miles from the river all my life and up until last year have never specifically targeted bass on it. I have learned quite a bit from this board already, and look forward to learning and hopefully sharing even more. I did have the pleasure of meeting Jeremy Crawford at the Open tournament out of Prarie Du Chien back on May 18. By the way Jeremy congrats on your win, nice bag of fish you brought in that day, and you were right how many times would something like that ever happen at a tourny. Anyway as far as the Champion vs. Gambler thing. I myself do have a Champion and just love it. Do I have much else to compare it to? No, not really. I just know it handles great, gets me there and back fast and safe. I do know Birdman who visits and posts on this board often has fished with me out of it and he has had many good things to say about it. But I wouldn’t say they are the best. Rangers, Tritons, Stratos, along with others seem to be good as well. It’s mainly what your preference is and how well you learn to drive it. Kind of like the old Ford/Chevy thing, although I prefer Dodge. I hope I didn’t get to long winded here. Looking forward to more post. Tight lines all
