The NEW HDS LOWRANCE units seem to be soaking up some water in rain storms and shutting down. I would be reluctant to purchase one at this time and if you feel any water in your unit send it back. I just had one die on me after 3 weeks of use. It had at least a cup of water in it. The long and short of the units are that they work great but may not stay running.

The camera guy usually goes with the 2nd place guy or 1st place but usually follows along. This time he was in my boat for 4 hours.

Being a bit of a led core freak on the river as Dean can confirm. #18 is the best and check the brand because some coatings are different. Dean is correct #18 and #27 has the same lead. Also don’t count colors get a line counter. As well each rod will be different on the line counter by 10 to 30 feet on the same lure with led.
