I am gonna go and say that the butcher took em. I have bad expeirience with them. You dont even get your deer back. I wont mention the name, but since then I tought myself to cut my own deer. My tenderloins are cut out as soon as its hanging at camp and then directly on the grill with some Schmidts.
Personally, I’ll shoot em whenever. I try not to think to much of it. I really havnt had any problems with are doe to buck harvest out of any of our stands.
I was in the Coast Guard for 7 years. I hunted in Michigan, then Wisconson. I own land in Minnesota. i went from seeing 10-15 deer a night on average to maybe 1 to 3 a week in Minnesota. Granted the deer we harvest a re big an healthy here, but it does turn into some long days and weeks in the woods seeing nada!
