In Wisconsin we only have unconcealed carry, and from the reactions I’ve witnessed, carrying decreases the potential for criminals to commit crimes. Similarly, an FBI study showed criminals greatest fear is an armed victim, because getting shot hurts. This seems to be a win for both parties, with fewer victims and fewer crimes on someone’s record.

    Thanks for the luck,
    Brad

Brian, thanks for the e-mail, to save a step I’ll respond here.

Suzuki: My sidearm was returned by the West Allis police in a brown lunch bag two days after the second hearing, in less than favorable condition.

big G: Gene wrote the letter.

big G: I don’t usually post on Internet forums because unknown persons make unrelated, false accusations and then demand I defend against them.

I do appreciate the support many people have shown during the West Allis defense hearings, and continued support for our rights in the civil case. Since there is a lot of work involved, people such as the Wisconsin Patriots have offered to handle some of it, such as composing a much more informative and well-written letter than I could manage.

Obviously filing a claim in Federal court is not a straight-forward, simple procedure that a person can take on in a few evenings after work, and if you think about it, it is not something any rational person wants to be tasked with.

If your right to be safe is important to you and you would like to help, I would definitely appreciate it.
