I would look any where you find a temp break. River mouth harbor gaps. Fish the surface with boards or flat lines.

I use lead for 5-50 down and copper for deeper presentations. You could use copper for shallow and deep Copper is kind of a pain to use.

All presentations have there time and place. I run twelve rods on most trips and leadcore and copper are always an important part of each trip.

Thank for trying my spoons. The Vulcan in the regular size has been very good for me on calm sunny days over the last two weeks. Good Luck!!

No Cohos yet! Chinook fishing is slow one here one there. 15 to 25 feet of water is best for kings. Limits on browns in and around the harbor.

    Hi Sully:
Blacks releases are available at most stores that have Great Lakes Tackle. They are quick to use and adjustable for the amount of pull needed to release. Cabela’s has them in their salmon and trout catalog for $9.99 Item # css 01-7675-001 Try it you will like it.

A kicker motor is needed if your boat will not troll slow enough for the presentation your running. My boat is not set up for a kicker it’s too big. Alot of the smaller boats run them.
