Ghost post? Was this directed at me? I don’t understand.

SteveO, please let us know how you do. I’ll be on Clam Lake on 7/15 for about a week and I may try some area lakes. I was on Clam a few weeks ago and caught very little but it was tough to fish hard with the kids in the boat. This time the kids are staying with my parents so I’m up for anything. I’d love to hear suggestions anyone has on these area lakes. I’m very new to vacationing here and also new to this forum. I could use a little help!

C$, I’ve heard crawlers and leeches are doing well for bass and catfish on the Clam River and white/black spinners for northerns.
My family vacationed on the Clam River 2 weeks ago. The kids caught a few very small bluegills/bass off the dock. Otherwise the fishing (I tried for everything and used several methods) was VERY slow. We are going back on 7/15 for about a week. REALLY hoping the fishing is better this time. I may pull the boat out and try some area lakes. If anyone has any suggestions for the area PLEASE let me know. I’m interested in whatever is biting!
