my name is Donovan Pearase and I am new here. I saw this post on facebook and found this site. This whole C&R world record thing peaked my interest as a few weekends ago i caught an absolute beast of a walleye and never even considered it a record however now I think I could have been in the running if we took the time get a girth measurement and weight it.

where exactly are the listings for these world record fish? and how would you go about registering one for future reference?

I caught a 32 inch Lake Winnipeg Greenback that was positively the fattest Pig of a walleye I have ever seen. It was witnessed by several guys. It was the biggest all around walleye he has ever seen in person. Based on several Big eye’s we have caught and seen weighed in the past we estimated it conservatively at 14+lbs but didn’t have a scale so claiming any bigger than that would not be justified without proof. Needless to say I wish I would have had a scale…didn’t think for a second a 14-15 lbs walleye could be a record?…anyway congrats on that monster fish…….here is a few pics of mine just for fun …I am 6′ 1″ 265lbs
