Give it public access and that little thing would get drained in one season.

Not unlike Powers over in Woodbury when that opened up. [/quotamen to that bk..we used to slide a canoe under the road and fish that lake and hunt it..great walleye fishing and pannies..houses came and ..poof..its a dead sea except for little , stunted fish

small to mediuim spinner baits cast over top can be deadly..believe it or not but locals in some western states troll spinner baits for eyes and outfish “conventional” walleye baits 4 to 1 if not more…give it a try cant hurt

just to stir the pot..i fished that lake for years as a kid and young adult..we would walk a mile or so through the woods and walk down a trail to the lake… we would then walk the small lake all the way around in the water casting..good times…i personally caught hundreds of huge bass and sunnies and crappies out of there..my best friend growing up, has a 7lb bass on the wall from “mays” lake..the lake still is excellent for fishing..in the years following i secured permission from a lake shore owner..he in turn was threatened and vanadalism occured to his place ..from owners i would imagine…because he let people access the lake through his propertey..long story short its a problem thats being going on long before you guys even new that lake was there and before websites exploited every little hidden lake thin..i personally havent been out there for quite a few years but i still know a friend who lives out there and its got some big a#* bass in it..the ice fishing for pannies can be oustanding as well…there take that lake owner nazis..

Word on the street is zebes are far less intrusive in the Croix than they once were. Anyone hear that?

they have..in my opinion…become less invasive..for awhile i was snagging them all over and now the original spots where i caught them are free for the most part..you would think it would be the opposite..ill take them little batstards over flying carp thats for sure

So what do you guys think was wrong with Chris???? Was he the same kid that came into the wheelhouse with the bruising on his leg earlier in the day? The way his hands were coiled up and the numbness he mentioned before things got really bad you almost gotta think stroke not? Or a blood clot from his bruised leg made it to his heart or lungs or something? That looked pretty darn bad! What do you guys think?

i found the incident report filed in cold bay alaska.. he was medavaced by the coats guard to cold bay then was evaluated and found to be suffering from severe dehydration ..not caused by sea sickness..he was later shipped to a better facilty conciouss and alert

ive found that sometimes you may not have a good ground through your hitch ball..this will cause the solenoid not to have a complete circut..this is one thing that people tend to complain about the ranger trailers..especially older models..when mine was acting up i checked my voltage at the solenoid and was good..my hitch ball was very rusty as was the slide in tongue..replaced the ball and cleaned the rust off the tongue and havent had a problem since..hope this helps

we got about 4 inches or so in the area..i took my wheel house off tuesday just because i thought we might be getting a lot more snow then we did..both accesses were in reasonably good shape considering the weather we have or havent had..it was a skating rink out there tuesday..

just wanted to give everybody a heads up..the access on the mn. side is in rough shape..a pick up put his front end through at the edge this morning and had to be pulled out..if your using this access just go to the far left of the main access point or stay to the right of the main access point..you will see a large hole..avoid it or pay the price..by the way its a sloppy mess out there

trail passes are only needed if you travel on any state trail..your atv just needs to have current registration..this is my understanding and what ive followed in the past..so if your going to unload your atv and head out onto a lake or river you dont need a trail pass..just to verify..id call the mndnr if you want
