I’ve been getting luck on jerk baits, topraiders, and slow moving wide wobble rapala type baits, like the grandma or Jake. Near rocks. I’ve gotten most of my luck in about 8-2 feet of water. I fish a river though, so it might be different, but maybe it’s the same! Hope I helped! Oh and bright colors on sunny days seems to be working awesome too! Tight lines!!

Well. I fish a lot by the dam in Taylors Falls for musky, on the Minnesota side. I haven’t seen one musky caught down there less than 40 inches, the only problem is boats are very hard to get down there. So it is strictly shore fishing. I have seen 6 musky attack my musky baits this year, and my friend got 2 follows. There are some giants down there. My personal best is 44. I saw many down there last year, also. Most of the fish I’ve seen are on a shallow strip of rocks, next to a giant rock sitting in the middle of the water, and points. But I would say from below the dam in Taylors Falls down to Oceola is prime. Good luck, and sorry for a reply that’s a little late. Tight lines!!
