Or the thrid option a Striker Suit!

Best suit I have owned thus far.

X2….I have yet to find a day where the Striker suit is not enough for the elements. Have had the Ice Armour Suit and this is soooooo superior to that, it is unbelievable!

    Thanks guys!

Would you be willing to take a couple of pictures of your setup and post it so I can reference it when changing this??

    Thanks again!

Attached is a picture that shows the bottom a little better. Hopefully someone out there can help me get this fixed. I haven’t been able to get the boat back out on the water because momma is about ready to pop with our second. Hope to have it fixed by the next time I hit the water so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It is a Skeeter WX 1850.

Are you talking about the mounting board or the step below where the drain plug is?? This is where the previous ducer was mounted and I didn’t have a problem with it!

    Sorry…that was poorly worded!

I lose my depth reading and the bottom no longer shows…the screen is virtually just white until I slow down to < 5mph!

The downscan still works best I can remember!

    Thanks Eric!

I was thinking along the same lines…I guess I had $600-$700 in my head.

You will love having a pellet grill! No matter whether you get a Traeger or a Green Mountain, ect you should be in good shape. It is so nice and easy because you can set it and not have to babysit it. I personally have a traeger and we use it all time. Your abilities as a cook will very quickly expand!
The only way I would not recommend this is if you like your food with a very heavy smoke flavor. You have to remember at the end of the day this is not what your hardcore pitmasters are going to call a smoker because it doesn’t infuse the smoke into the meat quite as much as a true stick burner, ect.
When people ask me if I like my Traeger I always tell them it is a “grill for dummies” because it is so easy to you and the food you produce will make you look like a pro!

I was just out in South Dakota this last weekend and we did take the extension along. I would say most holes we drilled would require the extension to get through. I would say that 32″ would be WAY on the short end of what most lakes and sloughs have there. If it was me, I wouldnt go there without one or you may be dissappointed!

I am a huge fan of using Babes Boat Bright after every use. It not only cleans the hull but also puts a wax finish on it. Ever since I have started using this product, I have had many people comment on the “clean shine” of my boat. I would recommend this to anyone!!!

I just want to make sure I understand what you are saying here. When I took my auger out of my truck the other day, i tipped it in such a fashion where the head was slightly tipped down….just then my hand was soaked in fuel. It only happens when the head gets tipped slightly down (and I know you arent supposed to do that but sometimes it has to come out of the pickup at a wierd angle) but I wasnt really sure what was happening. Is this what you are talking about or are you just simply talking about the fuel line coming off??

I think it really depends on what type of fishing you plan on doing. I for one am a walleye fisherman who would love to have a Shimano Tekota because we all know it is a great reel but in all reality, I have 3 of the 30’s and 3 of the 15’s scheels(okuma) line counters and they all work great. I picked up most of these reels for about $35 each and have never had a problem with even one of them. If I was someone who used leadcore a lot and caught larger fish like lakers I would consider the tekota but for me the scheels line counter reels work great! I would strongly recommend you try one and I am quite sure you will find they suit your needs!!

I too bought a Striker Predator suit beginning of this year and like it alot. It is a little easier sell to the Mrs. if you tell her it floats. I have been out in minus degree weather and wind most of the year and I have not been cold yet. The suit is a little bulkier than the old ice armour type suits but IMHO it is worth it because of the warmth it provides!

Thanks for the input guys…I was kind of thinking along the same line but I was under the impression that it had a low oxygen shutoff so if it was carbon monoxide the heater would have shut off. I will definetly contact the company and also keep some sort of flap open in my shack to avoid this in the future, no matter how cold it is! But for the time being I am going back to my big buddy because I never had any problems like this when I used that heater in the past!

Thanks for your help guys. I am having a hard time getting in touch with most of these people but hopefully sooner or later I will hear from one of them!
