I would just start looking for a new one and move on. I have been sitting on my boat for over 6 months now, and had a lot of people say they are going to show up to look at it and never heard from them again. I would go with the first person that show up with the money. People are not really buying things now so you gotta go with the first one with the cash.

Glad to hear they are doing good. Sometimes people are just stupid .
August 7, 2009 at 11:05 pm #796154If you want to try to use lures that are that light you are going to want to have your reel super tuned. It gets rid of a lot of the friction that they have. It is requires sanding and polishing the inside components of the reel. It allows a guy to cast light baits far and reduces backlashes. I have done a bunch of them, they work awsome and have other people tell me how much they love them.
August 6, 2009 at 5:37 pm #795852Thanks Jason. I have just started working with the Humminbird PC and new to the Humminbird units. Great post helps a lot.
August 6, 2009 at 7:34 am #795685Oh yeah the sure did cut the weeds out there. They had the entire lake cut when we had the tournament there. Not a weed to be found on the 11th of July. I guess from what I heard when I was up there is they were going to cut it again if the weeds started coming back up. I think they have a little to much money to spend on that kind of thing. I would spend my time up fishing the rivers for bass if thats what you are after if there are no weeds in the lake then.

August 4, 2009 at 6:24 pm #795329Is light on your card reader on? Maybe you have a bad card reader. If you have another card I would see if it can read that.
August 4, 2009 at 5:31 pm #795303I have had a few Mercs….they were good only minnor problems. Evinrudes suck…I blew up 3 of them. 2 in one year. The best one that I have found would be Yamaha…I have had 4 of them and never had a single problem with them. I only run 2 strokes, 4 strokes are heavy….thats just my 2 cents
August 4, 2009 at 6:10 am #795199Clam has been really slow this year. We ran a tournament out there about a month ago and there was not much for bass caught. Everything that the guys found was all up the rivers. It needs to turn around….like a lot of the lakes in the area need to this year.
August 3, 2009 at 6:51 pm #795069I’m new to IDO and just saw the post. I live about 5 min away from Menomin and have not fished it in over a month it has been really bad out there this year. Hopefully you did well out there. Look forward to seeing your new post about the weekend.
August 3, 2009 at 6:06 pm #795053Here is a couple of pictures of my new Skeeter, I just picked it up on the 24th of July. It is a 2010 ZX 200 with a 200 Series 2 Yamaha. It has a 798si in the dash and a 788 in the bow with an interlink. This is my first Skeeter and I know it’s not going to be my last. It is the best boat that I have ever had. I only have about 5 hours on it so far but it is really quick. It is available for Ride and Drives so if you want to take it out and see how a ZX 200 runs send me an email or get a hold of Dan at Skeeter Boat Center and we can get it set up. Also it is for sale in October this year, hopefully I will have it broke in by then so we can really see what it can do.
August 3, 2009 at 5:29 pm #795034There sure was a lot of smiles. It was really nice to see that most of the people went out in a couple of differnt boats.
August 3, 2009 at 4:55 pm #795025Every tournament is ran a little differnt when it comes to the no passing rule in a slow no wake. Now since it has happend to you it would be a good question to ask in the pre tournament meeting so every one is clear on where the director stands on it and there are no protests at the end of the weigh in. I would treat it as no passing as long as they have there PFD’s on and one of them is behind the wheel and still moving the boat.
August 3, 2009 at 4:10 pm #795006It was a great time last weekend. James I know you liked the wheel time that you got in my ZX200.
