Too bad you can’t get service like that when your motor needs a part and you are stuck shore fishing for weeks!

i’ve never used a planner board, does it work the same as a notebook planner? that is crazy though a piece of equipment that not only keeps your schedule straight, but also helps catch fish!
If you “plan” on catching fish you will need the “planner” board!
May 1, 2009 at 5:38 pm #773141Welcome! I for one would like a good recipe for grilling fish. I apparently am not good at it
April 17, 2009 at 5:19 pm #769348One other thing to try is a boat salvage yard for a used one. I don’t know any specific ones but when I was restoring a boat awhile back I just did a search on the internet and a few popped up.
April 17, 2009 at 5:03 pm #769343If it is flat glass and not curved, any glass shop can cut one to fit for you. Best thing is to take your boat to them and they can size it up and cut one to fit. If it is curved you will have to order one. Hopefully it is flat because it is relatively cheap and quick. Good luck!
March 6, 2009 at 4:34 pm #755644Just agreeing with bassn dan, any glass company can cut one for you assuming it is flat glass and not curved
March 6, 2009 at 4:03 am #755533What worked for my dog was to mix a half a can of canned food with the dry food. Mix it well so it coats all of the dry food. They will lick the bowl clean!
March 4, 2009 at 11:10 pm #755077I don’t think that they spun on the studs. Most cars now there is only one position on the stud it can be placed. My best guess is it may have jumped some gears on the motor itself. Good luck on getting to the motor to find out as they are usually well hidden. DISCLAIMER!! I am not a mechanic, just a humble guess
If all else fails put some RainX on the windshield, and buy your kid a squirt bottle and squeegee.
March 4, 2009 at 10:20 pm #755061There is lots of good fishing there. A few that come to mind that I have fished are: Ottertail,Walker,Battle Lake,Clitheral and many “mud holes” They are all good. It depends on what you want to fish for and time of year you are there. Ask any bait shop when you get there ” where are they biting and on what” They will send you to the right lake. Make sure to ask if it is mostly a fishing or recreational lake. They all have good fishing but, if you want peace and quiet you should ask. Ottertail and Battle Lake are recreational but big enough that you won’t notice it too much fishing. I hope this helps. Maybe I will be up at the cabin on Ottertail when you are there. I would be happy to show you around.
March 4, 2009 at 3:34 am #754783Guys,
Tuning in on TV to watch fishing isn’t mostly about “learning” something. It is about entertainment. We want to learn something, but we also want to see big fish getting hooked. You also got to consider who is paying the bills.I agree. I mostly want to learn something but also be entertained. Show me what works, how it works, where it works and why. But it would be pretty boreing without a fish caught. I also would’t want to pay for a camera man to sit for a long period of time waiting for the next bite.
March 1, 2009 at 6:46 pm #753752Ok, how do you reverse the line? If I “reeled” it from one reel to another would that do it?
March 1, 2009 at 3:09 pm #753666A few more things I would like to see are more underwater shots to see what kind of structure your fishing. Also I would like to see the depth finder. It would he helpful to know what you are looking at or looking for.
I do like your shows better than the others. You “show’ me more than the others do. It is why I joined your web site.
Keep it up James and the gang!
February 27, 2009 at 8:54 pm #753258My Grandma just as well be quarterback with the choices they have now. She’s pretty tough, not much for an arm, but can hand the ball off as well as any of them.
February 27, 2009 at 8:33 pm #753246It would be nice if he had to sit out for a year. Deflate the ego a little. Maybe he can hang out with Barry Bonds!

I agree with the showing of more technique. Most of us know where to fish but have trouble with exactly how to present the bait properly like say pitching to a wing dam or working blade baits. I know the pros and the guides dont want to give up all the secrets but I watch fishing shows to learn mostly not to see guys catching 16-20″ walleyes for 21 minutes without giving up trolling speeds or lindy rigging techniques stuff like that
Thats’ what I am talking about! We all know the pros can catch fish. I also now that they have to show them catching a few or it wouldn’t be believable. I want to learn how to catch more fish rather than watch other people catch them.
I need more Wooo Hooo!! in my fishing trips!
February 27, 2009 at 5:39 pm #753166So true! More people need to count there blessings instead of sweating the small stuff.
February 27, 2009 at 5:25 pm #753161I had a freind with one in his truck and I remember that you couldn’t tell the difference in the performance. It also went a long ways between fill ups. I think he had a tank that held 100 lbs. I don’t remember the MPG, but at the time he said it was cheaper than useing gas per mile. That was 15 years ago.
February 26, 2009 at 6:52 pm #752807I just as well stay at work. By the time I get home I will have to turn around and head back to work.
February 26, 2009 at 6:05 pm #752785Peter is starting to get upset that he has to give his hard earned money to Paul who is to lazy to find extra work or get a job in the first place!
February 26, 2009 at 2:57 am #752571I quit chewing for 60 days a couple of years ago to qualify for “non tobacco” life insurance. It was easy and didn’t miss it. I started again after I had a couple drinks because it tasted so good. I have been trying to quit again only this time it seems so much harder!
February 26, 2009 at 2:21 am #752549If anyone in your house is on a low carb diet, try using ground rice puffs for breading. The blender works well.Coat bottom of baking dish with extra virgin olive oil and bake at 350 for about 15 min.
