Fished there two years ago on opener and didnt do so well. Marked alot of fish but couldnt get them to bite. My buddy owns a cabin on the lake and he will be out in a green 18′ lund. Good Luck.

That was a great spot on the news. He is a couragous man and we should all be lucky to have such fine men and women in the field of law enforcement. Being a police officer I feel proud when I see things like this and how the community comes together to help fellow brothers and sisters in need. I say thank you to all the help.

Nick is right. I think that we should take the lake back and let everyone enjoy it. I read this article two hours ago and had to leave because I was so . Fish it out again and the true loosers up there are the resort owners who put alot of time and $$$ into the economy. Lots of good people but I wont go back up there and fish that water anymore. Even though we all have paid for it to become what it once was.

I have always wanted to do that early ice but have also been intimidated by the big lake.

Me to. Sounds like fun.

Plenty of ice for driving. Was out there last week. Way to many people there on the weekends. Crappies are going ok and the walleye’s are hard to find keepers. Good luck.

They have a couple of the LED ropes in the bargin cave for 1/2 prices. I bought a couple yesterday. There were still one or two left.

Could not agree more with everyone. I have been going up there for years. 1st ice is usually asume and at times you cant keep up with two poles. The Wigwam is the place to be. Tom and Cat are very nice. I will be going up there the 9th and 10th. YB are highly recomended.
